Happy New Year From Our Little Family To Yours!!

We finally had our first photo(s) of all 7 of us taken on Christmas Day. It was about how you’d expect it to be for getting 5 kids, ages 5 & under, to all look at the camera and smile.

Today we took down our Christmas tree. First thing Lil’ Man said when he got up from his nap was: “Where Kismas twee at?”

It was super cute. I love that he’s talking so much more, and that we’re able to understand it. Round of applause for his special preschool.

Tonight, I made chili for dinner. In order to entice Miss Cakes {who is obsessed with Snow White} to eat her chili, we told her that Snow White made chili for the dwarfs.

My husband then added that what we call tooting, they call whistling, and chili is why the dwarfs were always whistling while they work. Effective parenting in action.

We’ve let the 15 minute rule slide for the last couple of weeks. Don’t think our nerves could take one more thing.

Tomorrow is my first day back to work after having Princess. Twelve weeks has flown by… how can it be over? tear :’(

I’m looking forward to it, and yet, I’m sad at the same time. I do think it will be good to have some structure around here again, but I’ve enjoyed being around my husband and our kids.

I’m expecting some tears to fall tomorrow.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas & a magical New Years!

May God richly Bless you in 2013!
